Scope of Position:
Identified in the branch as the contact person for software and hardware problems and responsible for contacting the Regional Support Specialist or CHQ/ IS/CHQ when necessary.
Act as a liaison between the branch operations personnel, regional support specialists, international service centers and IS/CHQ.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
ˇ Branch Support
ˇ Basic PC, LAN, HP, EI software, and printer troubleshooting.
ˇ PC software and hardware upgrades
ˇ Create Notes ID's for new employees
ˇ On call for after hours IS issues including DAYEND problems
ˇ HP and LAN backups
ˇ Intermediate knowledge of MS Visual Basic
Sales and Miscellaneous Support:
ˇ Manages Remote email updates for laptop users
ˇ Installs EI software at clients site
ˇ Has basic knowledge of all EI software including E.TMS, E.CMS, E.DMS, E.NET, and exp.o.
ˇ Ability to work with CHQ and Regional Support via the telephone
Offers suggestions and comments to IS/CHQ for system improvements
Experience and Education:
Effective problem solving skills
Good Training and communication skills
Basic PC skills
Basic understanding of EI operations
Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects
